Keep in mind that businesses are ultimately run by humans, not computers. So, while you may think that your business statistics are impressionable, what people will remember most about your presentation was that story that touched them emotionally. Use storytelling to your advantage when presenting in order to draw attention to your main point and make it more memorable. While numbers and statistics certainly do help to strengthen your message and convey credibility, they are hard to listen to and even easier to forget. Stories are easy to follow and pleasurable to hear—not to mention they usually affect us emotionally on a different level than numbers do. Be a good storyteller (but be careful not to augment the truth or even lie!) and people will remember your brand.
