You may be tempted to offer something to an indecisive client in order to further entice that individual to commit to your services. However, you must carefully consider just what you are offering before promising anything, and always remember to put any offers you make in to writing. A client may take your verbal promises as opportunities to stretch your word and take advantage of you. Written agreements help you solidify and reiterate your offers, while not allowing you to get stuck with bigger projects you didn’t mean to take on.
