FirstLineWhatever the main message of your email is, make sure you state it in the first line, or even in the subject area. Many people read hundreds of emails a day and don’t want to waste time reading yours, especially if they don’t know you. Keep your message short and sweet, and people will understand why you are emailing them. If you beat around the bush with niceties, people will skim through your words without really ingesting what you have to say. The more to the point your emails are, the better the chances are that you will reach out to the people that need you, especially when sending emails to a list. Don’t let your words get lost.
